All of this lives together happily in one person.

Levin (D-MI-9) 10/22/2021: Twitter thread – “Questioning Israeli policy and practice is fair game, as with any other government. Saying the Jewish people have no rights to a homeland of our own is not. I appreciate this clarification statement from @sunrisemvmt about the harmful antisemitism that occurred, and I am hopeful that this can lead to more communication and exchange, which we need more of instead of exclusion and vitriol.Link to quoted tweetTo be clear, Sunrise DC’s statement and actions are not in line with our values. Singling out Jewish organizations for removal from a coalition, despite others holding similar views, is antisemitic and unacceptable. https://t.co/PRsRVCpYvg Sign me up for continuing the work of bringing people together to understand the link between antisemitism and other forms of bigotry. I hope we can stick together in solidarity as a movement for the liberation of all people and saving life on earth as we know it.

Levin (D-MI-9) 10/22/2021: Retweet of @dylanotes – “Labeling human rights advocates as “terrorists” in order to criminalize their activities is the type of action that we regularly see from authoritarian, illiberal regimes, and is totally inconsistent with democratic values Israel should reverse this move Link to jstreet.org

Jewish, Anti-semitism

Connolly (D-VA-11) 10/22/2021: Retweet of @EFillerCorn – “.@GlennYoungkin: the next time you visit my home precinct - represented by a Jewish school board member no less - leave your division and antisemitic tropes at home. Schneider (D-IL-10) 10/22/2021: Twitter thread – “I wholeheartedly condemn Sunrise DC’s boycott of this weekend’s Freedom to Vote Relay—Rally in Washington. It is a contemptible action, demonstrating the height of intolerance, bigotry and antisemitism. I am pleased that the national Sunrise Movement has clarified its position and condemned the boycott. I hope that the DC chapter reconsiders its position. American democracy stands on the pedestal of universal voting, which is the point of the Relay-Rally. America’s strength derives from the rich diversity of our people, reflecting a panoply of traditions, perspectives and ideas (E Pluribus Unum). Sunrise DC should try to build bridges rather than stoke hateful divisions.

Trone (D-MD-6) 10/22/2021: Tweet – “I shouldn't have to say this, but there is no place for hate or intolerance in this country. Syria

Chabot (R-OH-1) 10/22/2021: Twitter thread – “Sadly, it appears that President Biden is shifting from the Obama Administration’s disastrous “Lead from Behind” approach to foreign policy, to an even worse “Not Leading At All” scheme. First, there was the debacle in Afghanistan. And now by taking a hands-off approach to Syria, the Biden Administration is only strengthening Assad’s position in the Arab world. Link to foreignpolicy.com Numerous international organizations and human rights groups have condemned Assad’s use of violence and terror, which range from indiscriminate bombing of civilian infrastructure, deliberate use of siege tactics, mass torture, and deployment of chemical weapons. The Biden Administration must make clear to the global community that any renewal of diplomatic relations with Syria must be contingent on Assad and his regime stopping their needless, brutal war against the Syrian people and agreeing to a political solution to the conflict.

Hagerty (R-TN) 10/22/2021: Tweet – “As Biden shreds sanctions on Putin's Nord Stream 2, gets House to stall bill to stop Uyghur forced labor & yearns to give sanctions relief to Iran—no one should be surprised he's now shredding Assad regime sanctions when U.S. troops in Syria are attacked. Link to quoted tweetThe Biden admin is making a major mistake in Levant policy. @AmosHochstein says the US urged Egypt/Jordan to export gas & electricity to Lebanon via Assad & says the deal is exempt from the Caesar Act. This deal won’t stand up to Congressional scrutiny and isn’t in US interests. https://t.co/iuc6uleC14

Murphy (R-NC-3) 10/22/2021: Twitter thread – “I was honored to visit the Beirut Barracks Memorial at @ArlingtonNatl today to pay my respects ahead of tomorrow's 38th anniversary of the Beirut Bombing that tragically killed 241 Americans and 58 French personnel on October 23, 1983. (1/2) Link to photo I was accompanied by two exceptional Marines from my staff, Col. Ray Celeste Jr. and Capt. Kevin Ryan, who served in the Beirut Battalion. Iran

Barr (R-KY-6) 10/22/2021: Twitter thread – “THREAD 🚨Latest from IAEA Director General on Iran Nuclear Deal🚨 Earlier today, I joined with colleagues on the House Foreign Affairs Committee for a briefing from the International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi. What he revealed was disturbing. 🧵⬇️ Link to photo Grossi confirmed that while the Iran Deal was in place and before the U.S. withdrew, Iran failed to declare locations where nuclear material had been present in violation of the agreement and attempted to conceal that noncompliance. Iran also failed to provide the necessary explanation for the presence of nuclear material & impeded IAEA’s access to the locations. IAEA found evidence of use & storage of nuclear material &/or conduct of nuclear-related activities in at least 3 undeclared locations in Iran. Grossi said that IAEA’s “additional protocol” for undeclared nuclear activity was applied only “provisionally” & “voluntarily” under the Iran Deal. This means that under the Iran Deal, Iran wasn’t required to answer questions about the undeclared sites or give IAEA fulsome or timely access to these sites. Grossi’s testimony underscores the fatal flaws in the Iran Deal. It did not have the teeth to hold Iran accountable, it failed to give the the IAEA unfettered access to undeclared sites in a timely manner consistent w/ its additional protocols. Furthermore, it did not punish Iran for its noncompliance. President Trump was right to leave the Iran Nuclear Deal!

Herrell (R-NM-2) 10/22/2021: Retweet of @LibertyIranian – “Earlier today, @Bryan_E_Leib had the opportunity to say thank you to @RepHerrell for her strong support of the Iranian American community. Thank you Congresswoman! Link to photo

Omar (D-MN-5) 10/22/2021: Retweet of @tparsi – “So I have a piece out with new revelations on why the Iran talks are stalling. It’s controversial because it shows that the picture painted thus far- the hold-up is cuz Iran is uninterested or feels immune to US sanctions-is incomplete, to say the least >> Link to responsiblestatecraft.org

Tenney (R-NY-22) 10/22/2021: Tweet – “It was a pleasure to meet with @rafaelmgrossi today. We discussed #Iran’s dangerous nuclear advancements & continued obstruction of @IAEAorg oversight. Iran must cooperate fully with the IAEA or face immediate censure. Link to photo

Two of the biggest malign actors on the globe 1/2 Link to photo have forged a relationship worth over $400 billion. Wilson (R-SC-2) 10/22/2021: Tweet – “Chairman Meeks and I, along with other members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, met with IAEA Director General Grossi (show here) to discuss the rapid development of Iran’s nuclear program. I remain extremely concerned by the destabilizing actions of the Iranian regime. Link to photo

It depends on a little bit on Saudi Arabi…” @POTUS, no. Let’s unleash American energy, create American jobs, and lower American prices. Link to nypost.com
